As we celebrate the Ascension of our Lord, where is He in your garden?
The spider’s hole is surrounded by the finest gossamer threads that only become visible in the early morning dew. Even the rain does not highlight its presence; just the delicate breath of dawn.
Christ abounds in our ‘garden’, yet it is just with the mist exhaled by the Holy Spirit’s that we become aware of this. For the most part we walk around oblivious to the fact that Christ is still with us and that we are standing on ‘Hol(e)y Ground’. He has not ‘disappeared’ into another dimension – He is with us!
We must wait, as gardeners, for the Holy Spirit to reveal Him in our midst so that we may see Him for the Master Gardener He is. That we may truly be Gardeners with God.
