Whilst purple is the colour of the rich and righteous, the poor are adorned in lesser shades!

Gardening with God is sharing His bounty, distributing the riches bestowed upon us, no matter what the hue.

As the garden begins to take on its full spring robe, we get a sensory overload from the full colourful array of God’s creation. Yet the passers-by on the street do not get to see what I do as the garden is shielded from them. How selfish am I not to share His creation? Why would I want only a select few friends to bath in His splendour?

Yet how often is our Christian walk on earth like this? The few that know the Master Gardener, keep Him hidden in the full belief that He is theirs and theirs alone and they want to wear purple with Him. The others! Well the others will have to be satisfied with lesser shades.

As new life bursts into the garden, gardeners must show off His Glory, throw open the treasure chest of colour and let all witness the spring garden resurrection.
