That there is a promise of a companion, a comforter throughout our journey here on earth and beyond ‘to the very end of age’ is sometimes beyond the boundaries of our wisdom.
That there is a promise for our wilderness journey to be accompanied by more than just a whisper, but a physical presence that will hold our soul in the palm of His hand and guide us where we need to go, stretches our understanding of salvation and grace to the limits.
And so, the wait for the counsellor to equip us for the journey begins.
We gather in prayer and thanksgiving. We praise the Lord that we started our journey with Him and as we abide in Him, we surrender so that He may abide in us.
